Well that was a fail!
As you can see, I was not successful with my plan to get up at 4:00 to exercise. Life gets busy, and self-care is important. Part of self-care is sleep, and when you have a teenager who is in sports, you have some late nights. So, a 4:00 wake-up call turns into 4:30 again. Since 4:30 is my wake-up call and has been since I started this blog, I pivoted. My morning routine begins with a 4:30 a.m. alarm. I shower and basically get read for the day other than wearing my work clothes. I put on my workout clothes and head downstairs to the these sweet boys. Rut and Finn keep me motivated. Once I am greeted with licks and tail wags we gear up for our morning walk at 5:00 a.m. Why 5:00 a.m.?
